This is a photograph of the Author

I am a passionate writer who has been captivated by the art of storytelling since childhood. I was working in the Central Secreatariat, Government of India. After serving for nearly 37 years, I retired from service in the year 2004. Thereafter, I made the decision to pursue writing full-time, and it has been an incredible journey ever since. Initially, I wrote and published printed books and marketed them myself. Subsequently, I switched on to e books and used the market places like KDP Amazon for marketing them. Over the years, my work has been featured in numerous bookstores, allowing me to share my stories with a wide audience. As a writer, I view the world through a unique lens, constantly seeking out the extraordinary in the ordinary. Through my writing, I strive to bring these stories to life and connect with readers on a deep level.

Subsequently I also entered int the world of audio books and narrated most of my books. They are also available now with a number of audio booksellers.

I invite you to explore my website to learn more about my work. A few of my initial publications have been listed hereunder.

Service Matters in Central Government Jobs

This is my first book which I published in 2007. It is an introductory guide to new entrants and prospective entrants to central government jobs in India.

The issues relating to recruitment, seniority, promotion, pay fixation, leave, conduct, discipline, pension etc are commonly known as ‘Service Matters’. This is a wide area and most of the employees are not fully aware of them. The book gives a brief idea about these issues relating to service matters. The book deals on the concepts rather than on details. It was intended for the new entrants and the prospective entrants to jobs in Government.

The book was purchased by a number of Government Offices and libraries. About 1200 copies were sold. Though out of date, it can be useful to a large extent as the issues are based on concepts.

A Little Girl Visits Kailash

This book is for young kids. This is a pictorial representation of my earlier book titled ‘Yathni’s Travel to Kailash’.

'Yathni's Travel to Kailash' is a beautiful story. There are two main characters in that story. One of them is Yathni, a little girl studying in Fifth Grade. The other one is Ganesha, the cute little god of Hinduism. Yathni is an ardent devotee of Ganesha. Pleased with her devotion, Ganesha takes Yathni on an excursion to Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva. How was this excursion, what were the things which Yathni saw on the way and what were the things which she learnt? These are dealt with in ‘Yathni’s Travel to Kailash’.

This book titled 'A Little Girl visits Kailash' has been prepared with the intention that the message contained in 'Yathni's Travel to Kailash' should also be conveyed to young kids. So, it is given in the form of pictorial representation of the main book.

The Bhagawat Gita-A Synopsis

The Bhagawat Gita is one of the main religious literature in the Hindu way of life. It is the essence of the philosophy contained in the Upanishads and is a part of the Mahabharata which describes the story of the Pandavas and the Kouravas. The various incidents in the life of the Pandavas and the Kouravas ultimately leads to the war in Kurukshetra wherein the Pandavas finally win the battle.

When Arjuna, the great warrior of the Pandava brothers sees the Kourava army in the battlefield, he is overwhelmed with concern because they are all his kinsmen. He gets terrified. Not because of fear of battle but because of emotions.  Krishna who is the incarnation of the Almighty God was acting as his  charioteer. Arjuna tells Krishna, ‘My limbs give way. My mouth is getting parched. I feel shaky. My bow slips from my hand. My skin burns all over. My mind is whirling as though I cannot hold on to myself. I see evil portends.’ A conversation ensues between Krishna and Arjuna and this conversation is the Bhagawat Gita wherein Krishna imparts to him the philosophy contained in the Upanishads.

This book is a brief synopsis of the Bhagawat Gita.

This is a brief book on the copyright laws in India

A Brief Insight on Copyright in India

Intellectual Property is a subject of recent origin. It refers to the ownership of intangible and non-physical goods. It results from the expression of an idea. The concept of intellectual property provides that certain products of human intellect should be given the same protective rights that apply to physical properties. This right is the ‘Intellectual Property Right’. Copyright is one of the subject matters of Intellectual Property Rights.

Copyright is an exclusive right given by law for a certain number of years to an author, composer etc. (or his assignee) to print, publish and sell copies of his original work. It can be defined as the legal right to be the only one to reproduce, publish, and sell a book, musical recording, etc., for a certain period of time.

This book deals rather extensively on the subject of copyright in India.

The Utopian Cricket Team

This book is a fiction based on cricket. As indicated in the title of this book, it is a utopian thought of looking at the game of cricket. The idea is to have a humorous way of looking at the sport from the point of view of other professional fields.

A few poems of William Wordsworh have also been given.

This is a small and interesting story based on the game of cricket
